This was such a fun photo shoot! It didn't hurt that this is a close friend of mine and her adorable children.  For this photo shoot, we met at a location I have never been to before but I definitely plan to go back.  It had a gorgeous pond, lots of land full of trees and some beautiful old buildings.  It was so cold out on this Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend so we couldn't get as many shots as usual but we did end up getting some really great ones!

My friend wanted to get these images to send to her husband who is currently in Afghanistan for the next year fighting and protecting this wonderful country of ours.  He is a true hero in their eyes (and mine, too!).  I am hoping to take pictures of them when he returns home too.
