My 2021 Senior Squad got together to participate in my first Project Beauty. The mission of Project Beauty is to redefine how beauty is shown on social media and accentuating what true beauty is through a no-makeup, no editing photo shoot. These girls rocked this session with their beautiful bare faces. As part of our shoot, we donated money to the Mental Health Association of Frederick, who does amazing things to help people of all ages with the many services they offer.
“To me, beauty means being an authentic and sincere person. Someone who has beauty is always radiating joy, love, and happiness. Beautiful people are confident and strong. They don’t need to please others to recognize their own beauty. The greatest form of beauty is ones personality and staying true to themselves.” ~Elizabeth
“Everyone sees beauty differently and I think that in itself is beautiful. I think just being yourself the way you are is the most beautiful thing in the world!” ~ Maddie
“Beauty is subjective and is whatever you make it to be, just as long as you feel good about yourself. It is important to not conform to a limited definition of beauty, find your own way to be beautiful.” ~Abigail.
“A shoot without makeup felt weird to me as I was getting ready. When I got to the shoot I totally forgot I wasn’t wearing makeup and felt comfortable.” ~Ashley
“It was so much fun! It kinda felt weird now having to put makeup on in the first place, it saved me a lot of time too. 😂 But I think it really made me realize that people don’t need makeup, we should just love everyone for what they look like. Everyone has flaws.” ~ Riley
“Beauty can mean many different things but to me, beauty comes from the inside and is reflected outward. Being confident in who you are on the inside shines through to the outside and reveals your true beauty!” ~Miranda
