{Blog Circle} ~ September 2015

"Thirty Minutes in the Life" will feature ladies from around the world as we capture 30 minutes in our lives as mothers, wives, daughters, sisters and friends {and photographers}.  This is a blog circle so please be sure to visit the next photographer in the circle.

I've been feeling a little restless lately.  Very uninspired in my photography.  I decided to take a little walk with my daughter since she tends to bring out my inspiration.  We took a very leisurely nature walk, or "nacer" walk (as she spells it), where we would just take in our surroundings and see what we could find.  She was pointing out so many things that I really don't think I would have ever noticed myself.  I'm so glad we did this!!

Next up in the blog circle is Hayley Hay Photography / Lausanne, Switzerland family photographer.  I always love seeing her work and you'll definitely want to check out her 30 minutes in the life.

Be sure to check out our 30 Minutes in the Life {Facebook} page.  We host weekly photo challenges so be sure to stop by.

Please take the time to visit all the photographers in our blog circle and leave a comment.  We would really appreciate it!

About "30 Minutes in the Life":  In the life of a photographer, whose art is created in tiny fractions of a second, thirty minutes is a sustained thought. Thirty minutes, the length of a child's ballet class, a quick sauce's simmer, a commute, is long enough to witness change and short enough to be over before you know it.  We offer you here our monthly results of thirty minutes of watching and waiting and recording, of rendering permanent those fractions of a second that slip past in the time it takes to watch a television show.  Thirty minutes in the life.

I love how close you bring the beautiful nature in this post. I can almost smell the glorious green and the crunchy fallen leaves. I also love these studies of your daughter and how you record yourself joining in with her. Really wonderful.

Stacey, These are lovely. I love how you captured all the details all around as well as the time with your daughter. One of my favorite things about your posts, are that you often find a way to include yourself. It is very inspiring. Great post.

WOW!!! These photos are gorgeous, Stacey! I love all the color you captured -- and your perspective is awesome! Your composition is really wonderful as well. My favorite is the photo of you placing the yellow leaf into your daughter's ziplock bag -- it's so unique!!

What a great blog Stacey. I am so envious of all of you who get to see fall. We are green all year round.. You have some really great shots and I love that you got in the photo with your daughter. I love the close up of the fungus and the branch, and the image where the leaf is partly across her face. Thank you for sharing.
